About The Photographer
With over two decades of experience in production, media, and creative direction, Greg Tanacea brings a lifetime of artistry, technical expertise, and business acumen to every project he photographs.
Greg began his career in live production and audio engineering, working in Chicago’s vibrant creative scene where he specialized in sound, lighting, video, and stage design for large-scale performances and live events. He went on to found several influential creative and tech ventures, including LoopCommunity.com, a pioneering platform for live music production, and Into the Hill Studios, a full-scale audio, video, and photography production house in Dubuque, Iowa. Into the Hill became one of the early adopters of guerrilla-style live performance media on YouTube—long before the influencer era began.
Throughout his career, Greg has creatively directed national brands and led full-scale digital transformation and rebranding initiatives, including the complete rebrand and relaunch of Envirolog.com. His deep experience in marketing strategy, brand development, and content production—combined with an MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification—gives him a rare blend of creative and operational mastery.
Now based in St. Augustine, Florida, Greg has shifted his focus back to what first inspired him: the art of the image itself. After years of leading businesses and building brands, he’s rekindled his passion for photography—offering real estate, portrait, lifestyle, and drone photography rooted in craftsmanship and storytelling.
Every project Greg takes on is treated as a work of art rather than a production run—a reflection of decades spent at the intersection of creativity, technology, and strategy. His work today represents not just a service, but a return to the simple joy of creating with purpose and precision.
